There are at least two community gardens in Leith already, and there are also a number of projects based in public parks that rely on volunteers to keep going. All of these projects could do with some extra volunteer involvement, so first of all our advice is to consider whether you could volunteer for one of the existing community gardens in Leith - rather than establishing a new one.
