First of all - thanks! Greener Leith isn't a massive organisation. So, we don't produce regular paper newsletters as they're really expensive, (although we will send you updates if you don't have internet access.) You don't have to do anything else when you join. But we would encourage you to get more involved if you want to. We organise public events throughout the year, and our members are welcome to all of them - in fact some of them help to organise amd run them! From practical activity like litter picks and community garden work days, to helping out at events and meetings, there's usually something that appeals to most people throughout the year.

Many of our members also help out with our campaigns. Look out for news posts to our website in the 'Action Alert' category. Action Alerts are sometimes things you can do from your computer - things like joining a Facebook Group or taking a survey. Sometimes they're events or meetings that Greener Leith needs help at. Either way, you can get support Greener Leith by taking action!

We encourage everyone in Leith to join Leith's own social network - The Greener Leith Social. There you can meet the neighbours, and sign-up to groups on a variety of topics including:

• Transport
• Regeneration and Development
• Food
• Leith Links Improvements

If none of those topics interest you, you can set your own group up to reflect the stuff that you're interested in!
