Frequently Asked Questions > Our Organisation > Who makes decisions in Greener Leith?
Greener Leith is managed by a committee of local residents. They are elected onto the management committee by our members at each Annual General Meeting. All of our management committee live in Leith.
Charlotte Encombe is the chairperson of Greener Leith. The other people on the management committee are Ellie Mills, Neill Hope, Chas Booth, Gerri Smyth and Robb Connor.
The management committee are all unpaid, and give their time for free. Our constitution does permit the chairperson to be paid for some types of work undertaken, but only when specific criteria are met, and with the approval of the other board members.
Alastair Tibbitt is the Development Manager of Greener Leith and responsible for the daily running of the organisation. He's the only full time employee.
In addition, our We Love Leith project is supported by a steering group made up of the partners involved in the project.
