Ally There seems to be a huge amount of public support for building a more sustainable Edinburgh. As I write this, even the normally sceptical Scotsman readership have voted 75% in favour of developing a more sustainable energy supply for Edinburgh. The big question is - how do we do it?
Is it simply a question of changing the planning rules to presume in favour of micro wind turbines and solar panels, as the local council have recently done? Or is there more we can do as a community? Mark Lazarowitcz, North and Leith MP and Changeworks, a sustainable development charity based in Leith, are amongst the organisers of a day long conference to take place on Friday the 8th of December that aims to look at these issues.
