The next meeting of The Friends of Dalmeny Street Park will be held in Out of the Blue's Drill Hall at 7pm on Thursday 6 December (36 Dalmeny Street, Leith).

We'll be celebrating our many achievements this year and anyone interested in this community's activies is welcome.  A wee exhibition of these achivements will include:

  • Some of the work that local young people have been doing with Streetwork on their views and desires for the park
  • Lorne Primary School's work on ideas for the playpark and their ECO Committee's plans for improving the greenspace
  • A short film from the Beanland Film Company of the very successful Streetball Tournaments we've held this year
  • An announcement of the FDSP Planters Project, a community project funded by Scottish Natural Heritage that will provide a community growing space to encourage biodiversity and continue to improve the park's natural environment
