Litter-Picking

Hillside Crescent and London Road Gardens
Meet Hillside Crescent Gardens
19 July - 10.00 am

litter%202_2.JPG

On Saturday the 19th of July we  are  planning  our first  litter-pick from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon, meeting in Hillside Crescent Garden.  We hope to clean up Hillside Crescent Gardens and part of London Road Gardens. London Road Gardens is a big area and we have to be realistic about what can be achieved on one Saturday morning. But we'll be back for more.....

We'll have all the right  equipment  - Litter-pickers, (kids' sizes too), protective gloves,  refuse sacks etc. loaned by the Council's "Keep Edinburgh Clean" organisation at Sighthill and we'll have the help of the  Council's refuse collectors to take away all the rubbish we collect. A great chance to get together with family and friends for an active Saturday morning....

Come along, get active, and make a difference!
