October We Love Leith Bike Ride Route
October 22, 2010 by
Ally
We're pleased to confirm details of the next We Love Leith Bike Ride. Martin and Ally will be your guides on a bike ride to Cramond via the newest park in Edinburgh - the Forth Quarter Park.
As ever, the ride is free, and open to everyone. Please do wear a helmet, and as it's starting to get a wee bit colder, please also bring a windproof jacket, and some warm, preferrably wind proof gloves.
We plan to stop at a cafe in Cramond for Lunch, so please bring some money for that, or if prefer - a packed lunch.

We especially welcome families and children on this ride - and most of the route is on low traffic roads, or on dedicated cycle paths. However, there are still some short sections that are slightly busier roads. Therefore, if you do plan to bring children that are under 16, we'll take this opportunity now to remind you that you must take responsbility for their safety on this ride.
As our guided bike rides are getting so popular, we're delighted that quite a few of our regular riders are off on a cycle leader training course at the Bike Station on the same day. This should avoid a repeat of last months last minute cancellation - when we couldn't muster enough trained leaders.
Look forwards to seeing you!
