It's open!

What's behind those lovely white screens? What's underneath that wonderful sculpture, soaring over the Drill Hall? To find out, you're going to have to come and visit the Some Like It Too Hot exhibition.

Rosie Lewis, and her team of volunteers from Out of the Blue have done a tremendous amount of work over the last couple of weeks to pull this exhibition together. You've only got two weeks to see it - so grab a coffee and go and have a look, listen and feel of the exhibits.

Ok, well, since you asked, we're happy to give you a sneak preview of a part of it. Part of the exhibition features the energy stories of real Leithers. Here's a 5 minute story from Keith & Kaori:

Listen!

And did we mention, that you can enter a competition at the exhibition? You could win a free energy efficient fridge, tv or a years boiler cover, courtesy of Scottish Hydro.

The formal opening event for the exhibition will take place this Wednesday, and we'd like to acknowledge the kind support of local business EH-3D Design Studio, who have kindly agreed to sponsor the wine on the night. EH-3D Design Studio specialise in providing sustainability assessments, lighting design and energy efficiency audits for the home and office. We would urge you to check out their website at www.eh-3dstudio.com
