The Granton Trawler

It's amazing what local cinematic gems you can dredge up from YouTube.

Here's an old film that has recently been uploaded to the site that follows the journey of the Isabella Grieg - a fishing trawler from Granton.

The film was apparently shot in 1934, and according to this website, the Isabella Grieg was later sunk in 1939 by German aircraft.

You can find all the historical information you never you knew you wanted to know about Granton Trawlers at the remarkably well researched www.grantontrawlers.com
