Emily Dodd Our Mooncup Monday series followed three Leith ladies for one month as they tried a safer, cheaper and more sustainable sanitary product, the reusable menstrual cup. We finished our series with the opportunity to win 'a Mooncup' and join countless others who are trying to help divert waste from landfill and the sea. We asked you to tell us why you wanted to win a Mooncup on the blog and on our @mooncupmonday twitter. We were impressed by all the competition entries. Here are our finalists:
I am on a quest for the perfect menstrual cup but can't afford buying a bunch. I'd love to try a mooncup and see if it's love :D
Anika
Save money and save the planet - that's a solution I like! Only my natural clumsiness has stopped me so far, it's time to try the Mooncup!
Crafty Green Poet Juliet Wilson
Because I'm hoping to have to change size soon.
Cecy
Judging was a difficult decision for our three Leith ladies.
The winners are:
Crafty Green Poet (Juliet Wilson)
Deep Tulip (Ruth Kennedy)
Well done ladies, we'll be in touch to tell you how to claim your prize from Mooncupltd. Good luck ladies and please let us know how you get on when you.... go Mooncup!
