Persevere Community Garden Launch Event

Greener Leith is working to establish a new community garden in Leith next to the Persevere High Flats. Working with local residents, Upward Mobility and Leith Open Spaces, we are steadily transforming a neglected piece of land strewn with vodka miniature bottles into a productive, vibrant space.

To date, Greener Leith volunteers have planted a selection of rare variety apple trees in the garden, as well as Hawthorn and Elderflower trees to promote biodiversity there. We are currently working with the other groups involved to develop the garden further.
